Bad News

Robyn called me last week with some bad news. My heart goes out to Robyn and Robert.

Peanut or pickle

This is a photo of Robyn's baby at 7 weeks (I think that's right). She is due April 15. Tax day.

The baby is about the size of a peanut, but I think s/he looks like a pickle. A sweet baby gerkin. With a bite out of the middle. How in the world is that going to turn into a baby?!?!

Robyn has had some spotting and cramping, which she tells me is totally normal. She bought some maternity clothes the other day.

Kid Rock announced he was hosting a Caribbean cruise next April leaving from Tampa. I texted Robyn to see if she wanted to go. She replied that it depended if she had the baby yet or not.

Oh s**t! I forgot she was pregnant. She can't go on a Kid Rock cruise. This baby thing is going to change a lot of things. At least Robyn and Robert will have someone to take care of them when they're old. I told Robyn that her little one may also have to take care of old Aunt Michelle, because I don't plan on having any children. I'm only half kidding.
